30-DAY RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: June 2026 | We want you and your little one to be completely happy.


OUR PROMISE

At Marilyn Babies, your satisfaction and your baby's safety come first. If for any reason you are not completely happy with your purchase, we offer a straightforward 30-day return and refund policy. We understand that shopping for babies can be sensitive — we are here to make the process easy and stress-free.


1. RETURN ELIGIBILITY

To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:

✅ Returnable Items

  • Item is returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

  • Item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.

  • Item is in its original packaging with all tags attached.

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided.

❌ Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and regulatory reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used feeding products (bottles, nipples, breast pump parts).

  • Opened or used personal hygiene items (nappies/diapers, wipes, skincare).

  • Opened or used car seats, unless defective.

  • Personalised or custom-made items.

  • Downloadable digital products.

  • Items marked as 'Final Sale' or 'Non-Returnable' at the time of purchase.

  • Gift cards.


2. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

Returning an item is simple. Follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us First — Email us at shadrack.otoo@marilynbabies.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. We will respond within 2 business days.

  2. Receive Return Authorisation — We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and return instructions. Do not send items back without this authorisation.

  3. Pack Securely — Pack the item carefully in its original packaging (or equivalent). Include your order details and RMA number inside the parcel.

  4. Ship the Item — Send the return to the address provided in our return instructions. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we are not responsible for items lost in return transit.

  5. Receive Your Refund or Exchange — Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund or exchange within 5–7 business days.


3. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

Who Pays for Return Shipping?

  • Faulty or Defective Items — We cover all return shipping costs. We will provide a prepaid return label.

  • Incorrect Items Sent — We cover all return shipping costs.

  • Change of Mind / Not as Expected — The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Items Damaged in Transit — Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.


4. REFUNDS

4.1 Refund Processing

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you by email about the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds — Processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

  • Credit Card Refunds — May take an additional 3–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

  • PayPal Refunds — Typically processed within 1–3 business days.

  • Store Credit — Available immediately upon refund approval, if you prefer this option.

4.2 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:

  • Items returned with missing accessories or parts.

  • Items showing signs of use or minor damage not caused by a defect.

  • Returns received after the 30-day window (at our discretion, store credit only).

4.3 No Refund Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Items that do not meet return eligibility criteria.

  • Returns initiated after 30 days of delivery without our prior written agreement.

  • Non-returnable items listed in Section 1.


5. EXCHANGES

We are happy to exchange items for a different size, colour, or variant, subject to availability. To request an exchange:

  • Follow the same return initiation process (Section 2).

  • Clearly state the desired replacement item in your return request.

  • Exchanges are dispatched once the original item is received and inspected.


6. DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at shadrack.otoo@marilynbabies.com.

  • Include photos or a short video of the issue and your order number.

  • We will offer a full refund, replacement, or exchange at no additional cost to you.


7. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you have not received your refund after the stated processing period:

  1. Check your bank account and credit card statement again.

  2. Contact your bank or card issuer — processing times can vary.

  3. If still unresolved, contact us at shadrack.otoo@marilynbabies.com with your order number.


8. GIFTS

If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, we can issue store credit for the value of the return. If the gift was shipped to the gift-giver, their refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
